COYO TACO, Victoria
Coyo Taco Victoria marks the Miami-born taqueria's first UK restaurant, translating a brand shaped by Miami and Mexico City into a distinctly London setting. Born in Wynwood, Miami's Latin arts district, with roots in Coyoacán, Mexico City, Coyo Taco has a strong sense of place at its heart. Our design brings these influences together through raw textures, bold colour, tropical planting and crafted details, creating a vibrant backdrop to the dining experience. Art plays an integral role in the space, with a dedicated graffiti wall hosting rotating residencies by local artists. Inspired by Wynwood's street-art culture, this evolving canvas connects the brand's creative heritage with London's artistic community.
Behind a hand-painted arched door lies Bar Coyo, a hidden late-night space that offers a distinct shift in atmosphere. The brightness and energy of the taqueria give way to deep reds, warm timber and low lighting, creating an intimate setting centred on tequila, music and social connection. Twenty bespoke tequila lockers are integrated into the back bar for keyholders, while a dedicated sound system, vinyl collection and centrally positioned DJ booth place music at the heart of the experience.
Two distinct worlds under one roof, Coyo Taco and Bar Coyo reinterpret the brand's Mexican and Miami heritage through a London lens. Moving from a lively taqueria to an intimate late-night bar, both spaces retain a shared identity rooted in colour, craftsmanship, art and community.
